# LIP-0000: Title

Copy this file to `LIP-NNNN-short-name.md` (the number is assigned when the proposal is opened) or paste it into a GitHub issue using the LIP template. Short answers are fine. "Not applicable" is a valid answer if you say why. A proposal that skips the hard sections will be sent back, not rejected.

## Problem

What is wrong, missing, unclear, or harmful today? One paragraph. Quote the current text if the proposal changes text.

## Proposed change

The exact new text or mechanism. For text changes, show before and after.

## Four Points

- Supports: which of Love, Curiosity, Purpose, Possibility this serves, and how
- Could conflict with: which point(s) this might strain, and how you weighed it

## Why now

Why this change is needed, and what happens if nothing changes.

## Evidence and reasoning

Sources, examples, prior discussion, or the argument itself. Mark what is uncertain.

## Alternatives considered

At least one, including "do nothing", and why you rejected each.

## Harms and misuse

- Potential harms if adopted as written
- How someone who does not share our intentions could use this change

## Implications

- Agency: does anyone's ability to decline, disengage, or disagree change?
- Truth and evidence: does this make any claim stronger than the evidence?
- Cultural: how does this read outside the author's culture and language?
- AI systems: what does an agent do differently after this change?
- Humans: what does a person do differently after this change?

## Reversibility

Can this be undone cleanly? What would undoing it cost?

## What would falsify this

What evidence or argument would convince you this proposal is wrong?

## Invariants checklist

Paste the checklist from `INVARIANTS.md` here, completed.

## Adversarial review summary

Who reviewed (human, or model plus prompt), the strongest objection raised, and whether it was answered.

## Decision

Accepted / Rejected / Withdrawn, the date, and the accountable steward(s).

## Decision rationale

Quote the strongest objection and answer it. If rejected, say what would change the outcome.
